We are loving long sleeve wedding dresses in the boutique at the moment. From off the shoulder illusion sleeves to full lace detail, wedding dresses with sleeves are a major bridal trend for 2018 & 2019. More brides are opting for more demure, modest look and sleeves are the perfect way of achieving this.
Long sleeve wedding dresses have been worn by the style icons such as Grace Kelly, Kate Middleton and Audrey Hepburn and given a modern twist by the likes of Olivia Palermo and Poppy Delevinge. Long sleeve wedding dresses can be classic or whimsical and romantic to full out boho, we love seeing how our brides style their dresses to make them individual. They aren’t just for winter weddings either, lots of our summer brides are going for long sleeve dresses for an elegant look but with a hint of skin in an illusion tulle or open back.
Long sleeve dresses are also a brilliant choice for brides are conscious of their arms and prefer to have their upper arms covered.
We’ve picked three of our favourite long sleeve wedding dresses which are all in the boutique to try on at the moment! We’ve also some gorgeous new collections arriving over the summer and in also in our plus size range.
First up is this gorgeous Martina Liana long sleeve wedding dress! The picture really doesn't do the amazing detail of this dress, it features embroidered french lace with a beautiful mix of delicate pearl and bugle beading, a soft lace train, scalloped lace detail hem and stunning crystal buttons at the back. This dress is the ultimate romantic gown for us, the perfect mix of modest yet sexy!
