There's lots of new trends and a move away from the traditional bridesmaids dress for 2015/ 2016. The old rules are there to be broken and the latest bridesmaid trends are well and truly smashing these! Remember when bridesmaids all wore the exact same dress and they all wore the same block colour? Bridesmaids now can opt for the same colour dress but in different styles and the latest ombre trend has made us fall in love with mix and match bridesmaids dresses where the bridesmaids wear different shades of the same colour. We've also seen alot more bridesmaids in sequins, lace and pretty florals!
But the latest trend- White Bridesmaids Dresses is breaking all the rules, including the once biggest wedding faux pas, never wear white to a wedding and if you wore a full length white dress, you were definitely looking for trouble! Celebrities have really embraced the trend and we've started to see more brides consider this look for their girls also. It also reflects the popularity of the off colour wedding dresses with many brides going for soft blushes and metallics for their own dress, it limits their traditional colour options for bridesmaids and makes white an incredibly great match! Plus white (or ivory) is a universally flattering shade and very classic so bridesmaids will be easily pleased too!
So what do you think of the trend? Are you ready to embrace white bridesmaids? These celebrities certainly have us wishing for a white wedding!
Kim Kardashian loved the white bridesmaids trend so much she did it twice!
