Preparing for your Bridal Appointment
You’ve booked your appointment with us and now you’re counting down the days until you try on all of our gorgeous gowns—but the question is, what do you bring to your appointment? These are all our most have items and our expert tips so you’re all set for a successful day of wedding dress shopping. We can't wait to welcome you.
What to bring?
1. Inspiration.
Bringing along wedding dress inspiration to your appointment is very important. We recommend adding all of the dresses you have liked from pinterest, pearls and lace social media and anything you have tried before to an album on your phone. Your consultant will talk through these with you on the day and we'll use this and your pre-appointment consultation form to start helping you find your dream dress.
2. Proper undergarments.
While shapewear and the perfect bra aren’t totally necessary until your first fitting, feeling and looking your best can all help you feel more confident when trying on and help you imagine the final look more easily. If you have one, we suggest bringing along a nude strapless or convertible bra although a lot of our current styles are backless or have back detail with bras built in, so if you don't have one, don't worry!
We do recommend seamless nude underwear (such as boyshorts, thong, or high cut underwear), as well as any shapewear you’d like to wear under your dress.
3. Hair ties & clips.
These are really handy! You may want to pull up your hair up with a hair tie or clip to help you envision your wedding day look if you choose to wear an updo, or just to help see the detail on the back of a dress better.
4. Shoes.
Already bought your wedding shoes? Great! If not, bring along a pair of shoes similar height to what you think you’d like to wear on your wedding day. And think comfort, you are standing for a lot of the appointment so comfort is key for you.
5. Your squad.
Make sure you bring along a few close family members and friends to help you “Say Yes”. Keep in mind though that less is definitely more—too many opinions from eager family members and friends can ultimately make your decision tougher.
Most brides that visit us will find their dream dress with us and while you can always bring a family member back to see your dress for another appointment, nothing beats the magical moment you realise this is the one. So if you have anyone you'd like part of this moment like a mum, sister or special bridesmaid we recommend making sure they can come to your appointment.
6. An idea of your budget.
We don't want to break any hearts here so if you have a budget in mind, we recommend you let us know this before your appointment so we can help you find the dress of your dreams within this. We also offer 10% off to brides who say yes to the dress with us on their first appointment so most brides will say yes and pay their deposit on the day. ( Can you imagine the excitement!)
What to expect when I arrive?

We can't wait to help you. If you arrive early in the carpark, always feel free to call us to see if we can take you any earlier than your appointment time. Our appointments run back to back, so arriving even 10 minutes early can eat into another brides time slot or our preparation for your appointment. So for the best experience for everyone, feel free to call us if you are early but otherwise we will look forward to welcoming you at your appointment time. The champagne will be chilling we promise!
When you arrive for your bridal appointment at our boutique, we will bring you and your bride tribe to your private fitting suite. We will treat you to some drinks from our signature drinks menu. Once you have had a moment to get you settled in and savour the moment with your loved ones, our bridal consultant will then talk to you about your screenshots and the styles you are liking and decide with you which dresses we will try on first.
Your stylist will be helping you throughout your appointment and helping you in and out of the dresses. Your appointment with us will last an hour and a half.
